1.  Is the NGO Village free to anyone who would like to display or attend?

Any non-governmental organization may submit an application to display at the NGO Village. Only registered conference attendees may staff the displays of the NGO Village participants. The NGO Village is one of the general conference events and all registered conference participants are invited to attend.

2.  What materials should I bring to display?

Since this is a national HIV prevention conference, organizations should display materials that demonstrate the varied services they provide specific to preventing HIV transmission and HIV-related disease.

3.  How is the NGO Village different from the Exhibit space?

The exhibit hall is available only to those organizations that pay for the use of display space, and includes nonprofit, as well as commercial, organizations.

4.  What resources will I receive to display my materials?

All registered NGO Village organizations receive a 6-foot draped table and two chairs. No other services or equipment are available in the NGO Village (i.e., electricity, display stands, etc.).

5.  I represent a community-based HIV organization. Can I exhibit even if I don't attend the conference?

Only those who are registered can attend the conference and visit or participate in the NGO Village.

6.  I represent a community-based HIV organization located in a part of the country far from Atlanta. Will I get preference to display at the village?

Many organizations are traveling to attend the conference and space is limited. To ensure that all eligible organizations have an opportunity to display, space at the NGO Village is being reserved on a first-come first-served basis.

7.  When will the NGO Village be held?

The NGO Village takes place on Monday, June 13th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

8.  What other activities besides the displays will take place during the NGO Village?

Plans for NGO Village activities are still being made and will be announced on the conference web site when they are confirmed.

9.  How do I register for the NGO Village?

You can download a NGO Village registration form HERE. Submit the form, along with a copy of a currently-valid Internal Revenue Service tax exempt certificate, to the address on the form. To be considered, all forms must be mailed according to the instructions on the registration form.

11.  How will I know that I am registered for the NGO Village?

After the conference organizers receive your complete application, you will get a confirmation of your registration for the NGO Village via United States mail. Please bring this confirmation to the conference as proof of your registration for the NGO Village

12.  How many people does our organization need to staff our display at the NGO Village?

Each organization should ensure that at least one person is always at the display table.

13.  When can we set up our display for the NGO Village?

You will have access to the room to set up your display at 5:00PM on Monday, June 13th.

14.  We would like to bring materials to showcase our organization's services. How many people will be visiting the village?

We anticipate that about 1,500 conference attendees will be present at the NGO Village.
